Doll (Belle)
An automaton created by a certain Gridanian Goldsmith to recreate the voidsent he dedicated his life to. While she isn't a perfect recreation, those voidsent ties remain, even after being seperated from her creator.
Created shortly after the calamity, she's built to resemble the voidsent whomst her creator was enamoured with.
After her creation, Doll resided in Haukke Manor with the Lady of the House, Cordelia. She was witness to the rituals and pacts that took place in that manor. Upon the Warrior of Light's siege upon the manor, she trailed the traveler back to the Waking Sands, where she resided for some time, recovering from these events.
After her recovery, and readjustment to society, Doll began traveling with the Warrior of Light. While she was created with the intent of being a 'guard,' she much prefers to follow behind others and observe. As such, she played a pivotal role in the Great Gubal Library and the Antitower, due to her connections to the voidsent and automatons.
Following Nidhogg's defeat, Doll and the Warrior of Light parted ways. During this time, she honed her skill as a Scholar. Due to her state as an Automaton, she isn't capable of casting magicks to the extent that an average Eorzean may, and thus relies heavily on her fairy to supplement her missing magicks.
During Dawntrail, Dolly once again returns to help assist the efforts of fighting against the robotic soldiers, as it's believed her ties to automatons may assist in the effort. She accompanies the Warrior of Light throughout Solution 9, and throughout Living Memory.

Doll is not the Warrior of Light. She possesses the echo, but this echo was given by her body's original owner. If Hydaelyn makes contact with Doll, it is only to have Doll assist the Warrior of Light, hence her role in Heavensward.
While Doll is capable of empathy, this empathy is primarily learned through Cordelia, and thus comes across as slightly awkward at times.
Doll primarily dresses in Lolita, as she's seen it's a popular fashion for inanimate dolls, and wanted to imitate them.
Cordelia Haukke
The Lady of Haukke Manor. Her location following the manor's siege is unknown.
Cordelia Haukke, the Lady of Haukke Manor. A regal woman, who prefers the night.
After the new generation of Haukkes retreated to their manor following the Calamity, more activity was seen at night. This was suspected to be due to their new charge, whom they referred to as 'Belle.' Following the siege, this nocturnal activity was reinterpreted to be due to their ties with voidsent.
Lady Amandine, the youngest of the Haukke Daughters, kept her family member's locations secret until her death. It's suspected that those of the Haukkes who did not lose their souls to the 13th fled North. However, this is far from the truth.
In truth, all of the Haukkes remained in the manor, including Cordelia, made a pact with Halicarnassus. In Cordelia's case, she wished for eternal life, and for the strength to protect her family. This came at the cost of her diurnal life, which she happily traded. In a sense, Cordelia may now be considered a vampire. Leading up to her daughter's mental break, Cordelia fled, aware of the incoming siege. This came at the cost of leaving her family behind, including 'Belle.'
As of now, Cordelia lives in Ishgard, keeping her distance from Doll in order to not open any old wounds. She funds a shop in the Jeweled Crozier, and remains in her apartment most of the time, occasionally leaving for food or essentials.

Due to her condition, and a confrontation she encountered while fleeing Haukke Manor, Cordelia suffers from chronic pain, thus not being able to be on her feet much.
Additionally, due to essentially being a vampire, Cordelia cannot be out in light for very long, lest her energy drain and she suffer severe burns.

Cordelia is almost vampiric in nature, due to her deal with the voidsent, and thus she sports typical vampiric traits. Strength, speed, and lengthened lifespan are all abilities Cordelia now sports.
IMPORTANT NOTES
Cordelia's nature is not inherently evil, but she contributed to the fall of Haukke Manor, and thus she sports the guilt for her daughter's death.
She keeps an eye on Doll through her bat and raven. Although she refuses to try and contact Doll, out of a fear of further traumatizing her, Cordelia does want to know how she's doing.
Ambrose Dupont

Ambrose Dupont, a Gridanian Goldsmith, dabbler in the dark arts, and worshipper of voidsent.
Having studied under the Goldsmith's guild leader in Ul'dah, Ambrose was considered to be a prodigy, having graduated at only 14. From then on, he continually took commissions from the elite. Jewelry, minions, weaponry, even staples in their home, Ambrose made it all.
By 20, Ambrose had amassed a small fortune. 6 years of monotony, selling off his skills for those who deemed themselves above him; he was bored. Due to this, he began looking into occultism. It started small, with the Thaumaturge's Guild, who were happy to take the prodigy in to teach them their history. Eventually, Ambrose grew bored of this too, and began looking into Dollmaking.
This new obsession of his led him to Lapis Manalis, where the Master Dollmaker took him on as an apprentice. Ambrose learned to create man-like dolls, almost indiscernable, aside from the joints.
Eventually, Ambrose took on the position of Master Dollmaker, and learned of the voidsent. From maintaining Galatea Magna, he learned how to summon voidsent, and thus summoned the voidsent known as Halicarnassus, forming a pact with her to learn more about the voidsent in exchange for Eorzean lives.
This pact lead to Ambrose learning of, and at one point witnessing, Scathach. His obsession at an all-time high, he created Doll. Doll, not being 'close enough in appearance to 'my Love'', was discarded, and sent off to one of his commissioners, the Haukke family.
Before Ambrose could try again, he was found out for his use of the dark arts to exchange Eorzean lives for information, and thus was sentenced to death by hanging.
Upon a new automaton being created, that of a voidsent known as 'The Cloud of Darkness,' his gravesite was dug up, and his coffin was found empty. As to where he is now, authorities aren't quite sure.

Llunnilas, Warrior of Light, Slayer of Gods.
Born in Sharlayan, and enrolled within the Studium at a young age, Llunnilas was no prodigy, but she was skilled in combat and the arts.
Moving to Gridania to begin her studies in White Magic, she discovered the existence of her Echo, and thus began trying to serve the people the best she could. Slaying primals, assisting in everyday tasks, she served the people of the 3 main citystates.
Following the Royal Banquet, and her migration to Ishgard, Llunnilas fell into a deep depression. Having served the people the best she could for several years, only to have her work ripped from her was the greatest pain.
Throughout Heavensward, Llunnilas was noticably exhausted. This exhaustion followed her until her name was redeemed, but she still remains wary of government officials, having learnt her lesson.
In Stormblood, Llunnilas learnt to be more assertive, and thus picked up another job; Dancer. This job allowed her to feel more in control of her strength, whereas she felt more reliant on others while healing. It restored a sense of control she lost following the Banquet.
After her light poisoning, Llunnilas was forced to swap back to her healing magicks, which she resents. After stopping the Final Days, Llunnilas retreats, allowing others to handle the events of Dawntrail. This was up until Living Memory, where she was forced to assist once again.

Although Llunnilas is incredibly wary of others, she does genuinely want to help. Unfortunately, after being used, and blamed for others actions, the people she trusts and keeps close to her are very few.
Llunnilas still, almost stubbornly, practices physically demanding jobs. This takes an incredible toll on her, but she considers it to be therapeutic. Dolly would consider it otherwise.

Light Poisoning
"Light Poisoning, a condition characterized by an abnormal absorption of Light aether, is separate from typical poisoning. Rather than gradually ticking away at one's physical health, this poisoning ticks away at one as a whole. Their aether, spirit, physical health, and magicks all take a toll, some of these aspects more than others.
Restoring one to their state prior to this condition is no easy task. The only victim of this condition that has been known to survive is the Warrior of Light. The solution in the Warrior's case was to absorb Dark aether, equal to the Light aether absorbed. It was by pure luck that Hades' aether was akin to four Lightwarden's."
Voidsent Possession
"Voidsent Possession works differently from Ascian possession. For the Voidsent to interact with an Eorzean Host, they must make a pact.
However, if a Voidsent is summoned, and comes upon a spare vessel, it may find it to be in their best interest to inhabit the spare vessel, temporarily or permanently. This is an incredibly taxing task on the Voidsent, so it often is temporary, as the aether required to keep an inactive vessel operating is no small amount.
If the vessel happens to be inhabited, it works similarly to a Reaper's pact, where both parties must agree and cooperate."
Dollmakers
"A position created for those who create and maintain the Galatae Magna. A position of the upmost importance within Lapis Manalis. Following the last Master Dollmaker's disappearance, Lapis Manalis fell into disarray, leading to the state it is in now.
As to whom the last Master Dollmaker was, most are unsure. Some Gridanians may have an idea as to his identity?"
On Automatons
"A form of robot, imitating the shape of an Eorzean, or an Eorzean-adjascent creature. Most of these automatons are created to be toys, or minions to follow their buyers around.
Occasionally, automatons are created at a greater size, intended to assist in battle or in serving their masters. An excellent example of this would be the Automaton Queen, sported by various machinists to assist them in battle.
Another excellent example of this occurrence would be Galatea Magna in Lapis Manalis, intended to train against fighting voidsent."
The Haukkes
"A previously prominent family residing within the Black Shroud. Seclusive, not many Gridanians, aside from the artisans commissioned to decorate their home, knew much about them.
Following the tragedy, and resulting siege, at Haukke Manor, Gridanian Officials took it upon themselves to look into the Haukke's connections, finding many dealings with the Gridanian Goldsmith as a result. Whether they funded his experimentations, or simply commissioned him for furnishings as they had many other artisans, is still questioned to this day."
